Did not respond to repeated questions about the auction item. Description of auction item barely adequate. Payment process took several attempts because of foreign transaction. Would suggest offering PayPal. Auction house not very responsive.

Packing was poor and the box of my item was damaged in transit. Partly this was due to poor handling and partly it was due to Auctionata packing the item very tightly in a small box. would have been better to pack in a larger box and wrap on bubble wrap

I have made bids on two items. The first, even though the system appeared to be taking my bids, did not work for some reason. More poignantly, the second transaction I was told that for a $200 silk scarf (weighing no more than 1 ounce) there would be about a $200 shipping charge! That is egregious and I informed them that if shipping was that much I would not like the items. Now I am getting harassing and bullying emails trying to threaten German law, etc. This is ridiculous and I would appreciate help to make the harassment stop.

The auction house was very "economical with the truth". The worst house I have ever bought from. Would never even dream of using again.

Items were not packed securely to prevent damage. The spare dial that came with the watch was damaged in transit. It was not wrapped separately and was able to rattle around in the box with other items. If this was a vintage dial, it would have rendered something worth thousands of dollars to worthless.

It was easier and to do transaction with this auction house than ones in the USA. Their payment options are simple and the shipping is very reasonable plus they handle it for you. I highly recommend the auction house.

Overall, I found Auctionata to be a professional auction house and I received the item I bid on quickly and it arrived safely. However, their "shipping fee", in excess of $200.00 (this does NOT include the buyer's premium or insurance) is excessive-especially to package a 14 "x 10" poster. As far as I know, this fee was not disclosed or made clear before the auction.

They put a wrong description with bigger sizes and the force me to pay!!

I bought one piece of 150 euros becouse they where in Europe and the piece it was an unbreakable a piece of wood, for shipping told more than 300 euros. I said them to use normal post but they refused. they gave two solutions 1 organiz my on interenational shipping, foe 150 Eu? 2 go the thwir home, ok I will take the number two I will take a plane foe it. Is it normal when I pay shipping and I take the responsability of it, to pay what they want? maybe yes. but I think is very unpolite.

Communication was great, but Autionata payment practices are archaic and the shipping charge was completely out of line.

Auctionata has an efficient and cost-effective shipment process that includes international buyers like me. I would be very comfortable bidding with Auctionata again even though I am in Chicago and Auctionata is in Berlin.

very prompt and professional service, quick to answer questions and very communicative about shipping status etc.

Shipping was extremely expensive but the valuable print I won was tightly rolled in a narrow tube. I was expecting it to be carefully packed flat. I suspect they make a lot of money on postage costs.

The auctioneer's description of the clock was wrong (it was described as French, when to an expert eye it is clearly English made)-knowing this allowed me to get a real bargain!!

Their registration/authorization process should be more prompt.

They were very communicative and everything was exactly as described. They went above and beyond to get additional information from the seller as well and were very helpful. I will definitely watch their auctions again and hope to do business with the in the future. It will also keep me looking at Liveauctioneers for other items as well.
