I would have been more confident in bidding had the auction house provided additional photographs and a fuller description. I was pleased in the end, however.

Buyers premium was very high. Auction house took PayPal but shipper didn't. Inconvenient

I am talking about Rago, they are nasty rude and totally unprofessional. Not sure if it's your equipment or theirs that when you hit an opening bid, it goes from 10 or 50 to 450 after you have removed your finger. But the rude person I had to deal with at Rago makes me very leary of using your site, when the auction is available to bid on elsewhere

I am not sure witch auction house you are referring to, since I have used several this past month. some photos need a reference point to help with size of item.

The product turned out to be worthless because it was not taken out of the frame. As it turned out the woodblock print had been trimmed and backed impossible to ever recover any of it's value other than for decoration. Absolutely no value as art.

Your shipper did the best job I have ever seen packing an oil painting in a delicate 19th century gesso frame. In my 40 + years of collecting I have never seen better. I am 100 % satisfied and look forward to your future auctions.

I like that they broadcast the Auction LIVE with a Video Feed. Its entertaining, and allows a more trustworthy buying experience and connection with the items and merchant.

Very seasoned and professional auctioneers. They try very hard to bring quality merchandise to the market and upstart prices are reasonable. Takes personal and informative interest to questions!

The auction process and following paying process was excellent. However shipping was restricted to their own shipping company and was extremely expensive. Referred second option a UPSstore did not react at all to a quote request (3 attempts). When I did refuse to accept the objects at that shipment costs, then they did lower their shipping prices to my max as I was used to for shipping these type of goods from USA to the Netherlands.
