Great Auction House!

Far better response from Henry's Auktionshaus in Germany. Blackwoods was abrupt and mechanical. But the deal was ok.

I purchased a CDV photo and it was shipped between cardboard-not in a plastic sleeve. Cardboard should not be in direct contact with the photo image. Payment was difficult-no direction on their reply email. Had to call directly to the auction house and it took several tries and a few days to get through. Not an easy transaction.

I contacted Michael march to pay for my items. I told him I lived in southern maine and I expected to be in his area over a three day weekend very soon so I would pick up the items. he got very defensive about when he was available and I should call him in advance to make sure he was in his shop. I also said I could drive down any day he was there to pick up my items and that I would call him in advance. a few days later I received a call from a Gloucester shipper telling me they had my items and would ship them to me. I said no, I was then on my way and would pick them up. this ********** march did not even have the courtesy to call me, email me or anything to arrange a more convenient pickup for him. fortunately the shipper was very pleasant and agreed to hold my items and I picked them up the next day. they also said that Michael march has very poor communication skills and they are frequently playing guessing games with him on shipping orders. I will Never deal with this ********** again. he sounds like a very poor business man, inconsiderate and just difficult to deal with and he only thinks of what is best for himself. I loath that type of lowly individual. I have been very successful on live auctioneers and will continue with you wonderful people but I will Never bid on a Marshwood item again. thank you for your concern, all the best tom
