I have been trying for over two months to reach someone at Palm Springs Auctions, my shipper tried to reach them in June and July to no avial, they haven't returned any phone calls or emails... and now Live Auctioneers doesn't seem to do anything either.

It is amazing that you would have an auction and then close the auction house the following week. If someone wants to pay by check then they have to wait for another whole week before the item can be picked up. Also, the item I won, the description was awful. Just because you say in the disclaimer that if someone doesn't ask for a condition report, then it is on them, doesn't mean that obvious and terrible damage shouldn't be noted. If an item has chips all over it, note that. It seems unethical to state the least possible about an item and then hide behind the excuse that the buyer didn't ask. I understand something very minor could be over looked, but obvious cracks, chips and repairs should be noted. I cannot see myself buying from this auction house again.

They said they would accept no credit cards; they were leaving for vacation; and we had to arrange delivery. Disgraceful. It is still not resolved. I would not want to deal with them again. No credit cards? Ridiculous! We have to arrange delivery???? Still working on it. Please do not tell them of this review before they ship what I purchased. Inexcusable. Penelope

The couple that run Palm Springs auctions are very kind & knowledable, I couldn't of been happier with the service at both auctions I purchased items at. Please know these are really good people to deal with & care for the auction items. Top notch all the way!

Only pay by cash or check, mailing check takes at least 4 days now and right after the auction, the house was closed for vacation for 10 days, the scheduled auctoon should have been after their vacation. No pay pal or debit card or credit card.

The lot was identified as a Larry Poons 'signed "print. We are still searching for Larry Poons signature. We feel this was a misrepresentation and will not deal with them again or recommend them.

This was my first experience bidding online, and it went smoothly and successfully. The communications from the auction house were clear and most helpful. My Harris Strong ceramic mural arrived well packed and in excellent condition. I could not be more pleased:)

Their policy of having to wire money the day after the sale is reasonable. I've worked for two auction houses so I understand how difficult it is to collect, but not allowing time to mail checks is ridiculous. Also, their "preferred shippers" are just guys with shipping companies nearby. They don't have sizes or any information and cannot provide estimates with out you calling the auction house and providing it.

Poor communication, email contact changed from invoice, shipper had difficult time coordinating pick up as they only communicate with email. They did not answer any questions regarding condition in emails prior to purchase
