Shupe Shipping LLC did the freight for this and 5 other pieces at 6 auction houses in 4 states with 72 hours 'notice and got it all last minute and to west coast in a week for an important project these guys deserve an award for logistic skills and at a very reasonable price for what was asked of them. 10 out of 10 rating

All the people at Carlsen Gallery are so pleasant to deal with. I buy from a number of auction houses but Carlsen Gallery has always been a favorite.

The staff is always honest and helpful through the entire process.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the painting I purchased. There were some rather serious condition issues that I did NOT pick up on by photos, My biggest concern, however, was shipping and how expensive the shipping quotes were. Caelsen does not offer IN HOUSE SHIPPING and it was quite a chore to arrange shipping. I let them know I was going to try and get a better quote from another shipper. That shipper finally gave me a considerably better quote (one third of the other quotes but they were slow to pick up. Carlesen was VERY GOOD about working with me on this Carlsen is VERY GOOD to work with and I have great respect for them. I wish they had better shipping arrangements e. g. a shipper they worked closely with that offered a number of shipping options at more reasonable prices. This arranging your own shipping is like a VERY tedious second job! I am getting more inclined to AVOID this!
