The photos for this etching that were uploaded to the Liveauctioneers platform made this etching appear much, much brighter than it actually is. Unfortunately, the etching I received is rather acid-burned (toned/dark) to the point that the image is hardly visible, and it will have to be conserved to bring out the image once again for an additional $450.

I found a concern with the item after I retrieved the info that the same item was sold by them a couple of months earlier for a third of the final price. I reached out to them about the misleading info provided and I was opened a dispute on Live auctioneer, and now I'm unable to bid anywhere, even after tenfolds and thousands of $spent in the past on this site with succesfull bids. I proposed solutions but nothing. All the leverage buyers have against bad sales are these reviews...

I have nothing but utmost praise for staff at this Canadian auction house. Absolutely NOTHING was too much trouble... Alexandre was so helpful and communicative throughout. IEGOR is at pinnacle of client servicing and professionalism-unlike some auction houses whose attitude is that they are doing buyers a huge favour by allowing them to buy items at their auction and being wholly unhelpful if anything requires slightest effort or minuscule deviation from ‘ company policy ’. IEGOR’s fees are also not of ‘ get rich quick ’ variety (unlike unhelpful ones) and I cannot recommend it highly enough. IEGOR could teach a thing or two to many so called ‘ elite ’ and well established auction houses. Well done and keep up fine work. Graham

We purchased this item, we know they had not properly identified it, we took responsibility to purchase it anyway. After a long period they told us they could not ship it, then took their time returning our money. Very sloppy.
