Item paid for... item apparently disappeared while in Helm's possesion... Helm will not answer my questions about my item.... they simply don; t answer me.... avoiding me although item paid for!!

This auction had only one photo with no close up capability. They had no detail description or provenance. Shipping was very expensive. I never received an invoice-I called and requested one, but that didn't happen. I'll watch other auction houses in the future.

Consigner not truthful Folsom was modern made authenticator said, i should have known at the price it sold for. If it seems to good to be true it probably is! Refunded

They charges $28.00 for shipping of a medium flat rate box that is only $14.85. They made their commission on the seller plus buyers premium and approx $14.00 up charge on shipping. this was to much for a $35 item. Other than the over charge on shipping the total transaction was perfect.

These charges were excessive (some 20 + ) for a small item that only weighed 4 oz.

Helm Auction, was by far my most satisfieding experience to date, I picked up my winnings they made it easy very easy, but unlike most Auctions Helm included Shipping prices for every item. Helm Auction had only quality items including allot of Native American and also paintings from local artist. Helm Auctions is A + + + + operation

Every item is an amazing find! My collection is most enviable thanks to their attention to quality and detail.

GREAT AUCTION

I have received so many items that are completely misrepresented, that I have nearly sworn off buying from internet auction houses. It is refreshing to receive an item that is correct, and as listed in the sale bill. Plus, ships in house, where I didn't have to go through an outside shipper that only knows how to bury you in OVER charges. Commissions are high enough, w/o some outside shipping firm piling on an exorbitant amount of over charges. Helm's Auction is more customer service minded than most, and my experience with them was very good. I'll bid on, an attempt to buy more items in their upcoming sales.

Item was not wrapped well and was damaged badly. Insurance was obtained but for such a low dollar item it just wasn’t worth my time to pursue.

Renee 10:17 PM (0 minutes ago) to info Thhis unpleasant seller would rather be belligerent than clear up a simple issue that would have been solved had he had a clear head and an ounce of customer service. I originally made a claim with PayPal after I wasn't able to contact the seller after I had paid the invoice two weeks prior. It had been two weeks, and the seller's phone was not able to leave a message. I became concerned about the seller and made a claim with paypal. The seller sent me a belligerent email and stated that the post office had tried to deliver the package. I had no knowledge of this..... About a week later I received a notice from the post office. I picked up the package. When I received an email from the seller claiming that he made a fraud claim against me, I checked my paypal account. It turns out, unbeknownst to me, paypal had credited me the amount of the invoice but rebilled me on Dec. 18. I am writing to complain about this seller and his nasty attitude and want you to know that as a customer, I would hope live auctioneers would represent a company with some better customer support. I am sixty five years old and have never reneged on a contract. I have also never dealt with such hostility. This has left a terrible taste for me and will inform my decision about future auction purchases

Great online experience

Sam Helm is a tried and true online bidding auction that I've used as long as I have used Live Auctioneers. I find their auctions very easy to navigate, and response time for questions or problems very quick. Online bidders such as myself that actually have winning bids always dread the inevitable, hassle and headache of securing shipping for their item. This has been elimininated with Helm as they handle all of their shipping and packing themselves, assuring you will only pay for actual shipping ad materials used. I love this feature on any online auction and wish more Auction house would gravitate towards supplying this feature. In summation, I will wait for Helms next auction!!!!!

I appreciated the in house shipping which made the overall process of purchasing through an auction much easier and quicker. The process was seamless and the item was delivered much quicker than when having to employ an shipper apart from the auction house.
