I won 3 auctions, all w/very fair final pricing. The lady who answered the phone & responded to a couple of questions I had re: local pickup/delivery was exceedingly pleasant & helpful (NOT typically the case, for some reason, w/auction houses)! Also, upon inquiring about possible delivery, she kindly referred me to a gentleman employed there who can be hired, on his own time, to deliver ur items, & that’s exactly what I did. Christian was AMAZING & for only $160 (2 items were large & ungainly w/1 of them being EXTREMELY heavy!) was able to maneuver even my heavy iron & wood potter’s bench UP onto my deck & over brick edging to put it exactly where I wanted it! And for the heavy, metal bookcase, he managed to get it up 3 steep steps, & maneuver it thru 2 doorways & around past my washer & dryer, to place it right where I wanted it, as well!-AND-all of this he did single-handedly! Clearly, I was very happy w/my entire experience start to finish, & look forward to bidding on (& winning!) more items ASAP! Ok, this was my very first time, buying on line through a auction house. I have to be honest it was absolutely above and beyond my expectations. I absolutely got pampered, and helped above and beyond imaginable. When you get a quote for shipping just do it, seriously they way they packed it, and made it secure was mind blowing, worth every single penny. It could of fallen of the truck and be absolutely fine. And when you call omg, absolutely wonderful, absolutely a extraordinary experience.
