Auction house extremely quick in responding and resolving any problem to protect the buyer. Particular praise goes to Vince who, with great patience and professionalism, found the optimal solution to proceed with the shipment of the won items. Very happy to have received all the items, in perfect working order, perfectly protected and in such a short time after shipping. Vince is GREAT!!!

Great auction house

I have dealt with American Antique Auctions several times. This auction has quality merchandise, great customer service, and fast and reasonable shipping. I highly recommend doing business with them,

They will hand your package off to The UPS Store and charge an absorbent rate to ship. No way was it a reasonable shipping amount. I just had a similar package of the same weight and fragile, shipped from a near by city for one third the cost.

Everything was excellent. The only thing they could improve upon are their descriptions. If they really want to set themselves apart from the other 90 % of auction houses they must provide more info on the condition of the item.

They were able to correct the problem that I had with the auction piece so a very upstanding auction house. The company that was used for packing and shipping did an excellent job also. I definitely would do business with them again.

Great items fast shipping

Just plain great service all around. Love the item as well. Fast shipping and outstanding packaging.

First time to buy and last time to buy from American Antio Auctions. This was finalized after a month from purchase, shipping high/slow and comments about shipping cost rude.

Auction House offers quality items but does not do well with descriptions or makers. Shipping was the worst I have ever encountered between both the Auction House and the actual Shipper. Charges for shipping were well above actual cost incurred by the shipper. They charged nearly $100 for a $40 to $50 shipping. It was all in one medium size box and weighed less than 15 pounds. Scam.

They have not contacted me since my purchase, wont answer phones.

My first experience with this auction company as I’ve purchased from dozens online. Without question one of the most responsive and honest companies out there. Received an item that was not as described … an honest mistake by the auction house would fool many people. Turned out to be a reproduction piece. Vince did not hesitate to offer to make things right. It’s refreshing to deal with a place that puts customer service and satisfaction ahead of lining their pockets. Shipping experience was fine items were well packed by UPS you just have to factor third party shipping into your total knowing it’s going to cost a bit more than just the actual shipping cost (there’s time and labor folks). Will most definitely be following their future auctions and won’t hesitate a second to buy from again. Many thanks to Vince for running a top notch quality business

I have purchased items from American Antiques Auctions in the past and have always been pleased with the item (s) I bought. This one was not up to that standard. I contacted American Antique Auctions about this, and they apologized for the poor quality of this item and immediately offered a refund to me, which I have received. I was very happy with their response to my complaint. I'll bid again, knowing that the items are good (from past experience) and, if not, they will make it right.

Slow Shipping

I must say with all the different auction companies I have dealt with, their packaging far exceeds all of them. So I wanted everyone to know of this superior quality packaging. These were high end toys which needed special care in the way they were handled. Not only did they use soft tissue paper to surround the toy but on top of that, a heavier paper to protect it even more. Then to top that off, a bubble wrap to keep anything from damaging it. So if you are ever worried about getting an item shipped that you don’t want broken, this auction house has it covered. Most enjoyable experience. A + + +

Serious auction house with taking into account my concerns about importing my purchase to my country. This was a test for a small product and I hope to repeat the experience with larger purchases.

Good experience overall, but the sedan was missing both front tires... not just "a tire" as mentioned in the description.

I only was able to get two of the lots on which I bid. They were accurately described, properly packed and expeditiously shipped. This is a first class auction house with which I would be happy to bid once again.
