Disappointed!

Appreciate to fast and accurate service

They only give you 3 days to arrange shipping and refer you to a very overpriced shipper!!

Great place and people

All I can say is I am disappointed with Roland Auctioneers all around. Based on my experience, their staff was not empowered to answer much in the way of customer questions. After many calls, their staff said that they left messages for the owner to return my call. Those calls have gone unanswered. The attitude toward me was buyer beware and I should have not bid in the first place. When I unpacked the items, my heart sank even further as 14 of the 18 pieces I purchased had substantial damage far worse than I anticipated. Much more so than their 14 photos and disclaimer. Maybe it's a hard lesson learned and the customer isn't always right. But they will have an unhappy one for life.

The auction itself was good. The shipping information, and the communication was bad. Absolutely not friendly

Never will buy from this Auction House again I was the customer for 10 years, Not return my calls or emails. 2 out of 3 items came broken, and none of this was disclosed in the listing or pictures. The watch has broken glass and is not closing and the sopper is also broken NO SHARDS were FOUND IN PACKAGING those items were mailed this way. The Auction House will not accept returns.

Sylvia Lucas Gallery closing sale of mostly antique prints. One of my lots # 180 described as including Audubon prints, didn't have any. Overall, I am satisfied because my other lot (# 298) did contain some rare and valuable artworks. Communications were very good and I want to thank Danielle for being timely and very helpful. I didn't expect the staff working the auction to be antique print experts and they had almost the full spectrum of subject categories to sort out in ~ 325 very mixed lots. The winners have a lot of work to do finding new homes for all those artworks on paper! The auction was great entertainment for me and I have some new additions to my natural history art collection to pass on.

Danielle satisfied a concern we had with the pick up/delivery. She handled the situation professionally, efficiently and kindly. We were most impressed. A very trustworthy auction house. Bid confidently that your purchase will be as described and guaranteed.

The auction house had recommended a shipper, we trusted them. The delivery guy ABSOLUTELY did not care about the item. It got to us broken, not as in picture. Delivery guy said "What do you expect, you bought it online?" The auction house did not agree to pay for a repair. It is a disaster. I love the item. It is a gorgeous vintage furniture that it unnecessary damaged now.
