I have made several purchases with CRN Auctions in the past few years for large and small items and they are wonderful to work with and they have the best quality items in the New England. I wish they took credit cards but they are patient when they know checks have to be mailed:)

I purchased and paid top dollar for an item. The CRN Auction was clear to point out “a” break in the condition report prior to purchase-which I was grateful to know. I got a bid for restoration based on that information and I proceeded to buy and ship the item to me. When the item arrived there were THREE breaks not one. The driver pointed out and documented the breaks when he picked the item up. The restoration now is now triple the original estimate. In my opinion this was just careless!! Perhaps the additional breaks occurred after the sale and prior to my transporter’s pickup. I do not know. But the auction should have contacted me when the additional breaks were made apparent and let me make the decision of cancelling the sale, and refund me, and save me the cost to have the item shipped across country and then restored. Now I will be buried financially in this item. If I was a Pharaoh it would be tolerable as it could just be added to my tomb collection and lost for a millennia or two! Regrettably I am not-I caution all buyers to check and triple check conditions of a perspective item from this or any other auction. Litigation is so costly and not worth it unless the purchase/loss is at least tens of thousands of hard earned dollars which this is not. I think this will total out at about a four thousand dollar nightmare.
