ITEM HEAVILY OXIDIZED AND STAINED
Auction House did not attempt to provide adrquate photos of the item. Item is heavily oxidized and stained which does not show from the angle the photo was taken. Total disappointment

Dear James, thank you for your feedback. We can unfortunately not predict when, and where item (s) will be sold to, it is also not possible for us to apply for an Export Licence without having first the Name, and Address of the Buyer. It is therefore impossible to apply for an Export Licence (s) in advance of the sale. We do apologise for the delay in having your export licences granted. Timeline applied for the your licence on 5th December 2022, four days after your payment was received. The approval process for Export Licences is conducted by the Arts Council of England, and this process is out of our control. We do hope to be of service to you again in the future. Please email us in advance if you wish to bid again, and a member of staff will be able to inform you if the item (s) you're interested in will or will not require an Export Licence to legally leave the country.

smooth transaction.
good reliable auction house. payment procedure was a little difficult. Many limitations for items over 500 GBP (wire transfer, then fees to cover the wire transfer), but generally good people to deal with. I just wish they would offer more convenient payment methods.

Taxes and more taxes
Unfortunately I forgot about the new regulations with the EU/GB. Taxes in the UK + taxes in Belgium + taxes on shipping costs made this iten way too expensive. The experience of dealing with the auction house was really nice-as always.

They took ages to ship after several telephone calls. I paid in one working day.
I paid in one day, although they allow three. It took two weeks and several telephone calls before they shipped. I found out that they out-source he packing and shipping. They seem to have little control over these people. It got to the point that I started to think that the whole auction was a scam. No emails from me were ever answered.
