17th-18th century AD. A flat-section bronze plaque with fixing hole to two corners, low-relief image to the obverse with two nimbate and crowned emperor and empress each with a sceptre and mantle, text above. 31 grams, 51mm (2"). Property of a British gentleman; formerly in the private collection of Russian businessman Yuri Golubev (1942-2007), some of his collection was published in his book 'Symbols and Images'; acquired by auction on 2 June 2006; accompanied by a copy of the listing.
