St. James, Minnesota, circa 1930, carved and painted wood, painted canvas over wire wings, brass makers tag, loosely mounted on custom wood stand 29 in. in height.
Length 23.5 in.
A similar example is published on page 97 of Canvas Decoys of North America by Archie Johnson. Tuveson began producing these flying decoys in 1927.
Hunted in Potter Township, North Dakota by Charles Fredrick Potter.
