Description
Meiji Period, before 1912. 4 3/4” diameter. Black body color with the well of the bowl deep brown. the lid decorated with oak foliage including two acorns. Oak leaves represent hereditary prosperity. The underside of the lid with two acorns without caps represents renewal and continuation of prosperity.
