2 1/8 x 3 3/8 in. albumen print on paper mount (minimal wear, great contrast). Seated portrait of Union Brigadier General Edwin H. Stoughton (1838-1868). Uncredited. Stoughton was captured by Mosby on 8 March 1863 while asleep at his headquarters at Fairfax Court House. -- 3 x 1 1/2 in. printed calling card for William L. Dunn, M.D., Glade Springs, VA, who served as a surgeon under Mosby in the 43rd Virginia Cavalry Battalion. Mosby apparently said that Dunn was more fond of fighting than he was of doctoring. Dunn returned home to Washington County and began a medical practice after the war. He attended at least one reunion of "Mosby's Rangers." -- CDV featuring a vignetted engraved portrait of Mosby as colonel, erroneously captioned "Gen. Mosby, C, S. A," in print beneath image (area of loss above subject's head, soiling, wear). Uncredited. -- 17 x 11 in. photocopy of a map entitled "Tour of Mosby's Confederacy" with key points of interest labeled (strong central vertical fold). Garnet W. Jex is listed as illustrator. Modern ink inscription to upper left reads, "To Mr. Keen with the regards of Beverly Mosby Coleman." -- Together, 4 items related to John S. Mosby.
