Pair of Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Famille Rose Porcelain Double-Eared Gourd Hexagonal Vases. Potted in hexagonal shaped vase, thick and large, globular hexagonal ovoid body,, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent cylindrical neck, with wide flaring open lip, two ring handles emerging and flanked on the neck, raised with short splayed foot base rim and slightly concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base colour which contrast against famille rose design colour, depicted of folk and tiger gather together and burn incense to summon the imperial dragon on the cliff beside flowers bloom and rocky rock. The colours are harmonious, elegant and exquisite, the composition is sophisticated, simply a feast for the eye.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark.
