Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base colour which contrast against famille rose design colour, depicted of sampan boat sailing over peace lishui river surround with tree, flowers bloom, rocky rock and mountain, all in salubrious mountain landscape. Mountain is one of the eight trigrams in Feng Shui and Yi Jing. Of these Taishan is considered the most important and stones from the mountain were often placed in towns across China as a lucky charm.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines.
