This beautiful print of the Acer was drawn by Georg Dionysius Ehret for Plantae selectae quarum imagines ad exemplaria naturalia Londini, in hortis curiosorum nutrita by Christoph Jakob Trew from the first edition published in Nuremberg, 1750.
