Potted with a large cylinder vessel, having thick and tall potted body, ovoid belly, heavy on shoulder gently tapered on short neck, opening mouth prominent, with flat dome lid and raised on round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white color which contrast against green and red color depicted of mythical qilin flying careening through flowers bloom foliage and interlocking tendril. Qilin are extraordinarily beautiful creatures, sparkling like gems and adorned in flames. With their scaly bodies and horned heads, they resemble Chinese dragons. Qilin are symbol of luck, good omens, protection, prosperity, success, and longevity by the Chinese. Whatever their special attraction, they always move gracefully and dazzle the mortals who see them.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.
