Description
Great piece, single edged blade, broad fuller, etched with foliage and crowned RNR above fouled anchor, makers name Kenning Little Britain London, solid half basket guard, folding inner flap, with crowned fouled anchor and RHR (sic), wire bound sharkskin grip, lion head pommel. Black leather scabbard, with black leather belt and straps, locket with locking stud. Good antique condition with wear and some corrosion according to age. Measures approx. 38" long. Provenance: From a high-end South-Florida collection, originally acquired on 10/27/1983 at Sotheby's London; lot number 256.
