Description
A large set of mid-20th century porcelain tableware by Schumann Arzberg, a German manufacture established in the 1880s. A total of 29 items, including a lidded tureen, two oval serving plates of various size, a salad bowl, a stage plate, 12 dinner plates, and 12 dessert plates. Figurative gilt rims, transfer-printed flower decor on the borders. Coat of arms hallmark, Shumann Arzberg Bavaria, and Oscar Shaller hallmark are on the bottom of each piece. Dimensions: Larger late D 13 in. Smaller plate 8 1/2 x 5 in. Larger bowl with lid H 8 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate.
Condition
Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Has stains and small chips. Refer to photos. Sold as is.
