Silkscreen on paper, signed, "Sister Mary Corita," in ink, lower right corner; with the text, "What the world expects of Christians is that Christians should speak out / And that they should voice their condemnation in such a way that never a doubt, never the slightest doubt, could rise in the simplest man. That they should get away from abstraction and confront the blood-stained face that history has taken on today. The grouping we need is a grouping of men resolved to speak out clearly and to pay up personally. -- Camus"; the design employing pale green and blue, text in handwritten characters using negative space, and highlights of neon orange; old pinholes to each of the four corners, marked "NFS" after artist's signature, mounted on mat board, colors bright; 17 1/2 x 11 1/2 in.
