A RARE EARLY 20TH CENTURY INDIAN SILVER TEA SET, SALVER, SCROLL HOLDER AND ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPH
the teaset comprising a tea pot, sugar bowl and milk jug, all with decoration of blossom flowers and foliage, with a cartouche with the initials WHH for W. H. Hussey, the twin handled tray of matching design, together with a cylindrical scroll holder on rope twist style stand modelled with peacock heads, the scroll holder with cartouche inscribed 'PRESENTED TO W.H. HUSSEY DEPUTY AUDITOR & ACCOUNTANT G.I.P. RY BY THE STAFF OF THE TRAFFIC AUDIT, TRAVELLING AUDIT AND THE PRINTING OFFICE. 30-1-1925', with embossed deoration of Indian landscapes, trees and houses throughout, enclosing a print silk scroll thanking W.H. Hussey, together with a photograph of him with the tea set and scroll holder beside him,
