Description
British production company Ealing Studios is now best known for producing comedy films from the 1940s and 50s. However, often forgotten are their more serious productions. The Blue Lamp, released in 1950, is one such film whose legacy can still be seen in contemporary British cinema and television to this day. It also provided Dirk Bogarde with one of his breakout roles, playing a thug who kills a police officer, and it is a masked, thuggish Bogarde who is featured on this distinctive-looking British One-Sheet.
