Comprising a pair of Japanese blue and white 'bird and flower' brush pots, 7.3/8 in. (18.7 cm.) high, 3.5/8 in. (9.2 cm.) diam. each; an en grisaille-decorated turquoise-ground hexagonal bowl, 3 in. (7.6 cm.) high, 5.1/8 in. (13 cm.) wide; a famille rose temple altar peach, 7.1/8 in. (18.1 cm.) high, 7.1/4 in. (18.4 cm.) wide; a Japanese Satsuma vase, with two rectangular panels depicting scenes from the court and the Palace gardens, 5.7/8 in. (14.9 cm.) high, 3 in. (7.6 cm.) wide; a Japanese Satsuma censer and cover, with a gilt mark of the marker; with four small rectangular panels depicting figural scenes, and four small round panels depicting the Fuji mountain, flower, ship, and garden scenes, 3.3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) high, 3.3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) wide; a pottery miniature baluster vase, 3.1/4 in. (8.3 cm.) high, 3 in. (7.6 cm.) wide; a Dehua-style white porcelain figure of Mao Zedong, 6.1/4 in. (15.9 cm.) high, 5.1/4 in. (13.4 cm.) wide; a painted porcelain portrait and quotation mark ornament of Mao Zedong, marked on the back in Chinese 'made in 1968', 5.1/2 in. (14 cm.) high, 4.5/8 in. (11.8 cm.) wide; and a vintage carved red-cinnabar lacquer egg ornament, 2.5/8 in. (6.7 cm.) high, 2 in. (5 cm.) wide.
Condition
The blue and white brush pots: one long hairline extends from the mouth rim to the mid-body of one brush pot, and a short hairline extends from the mout rim to the upper body of another brush pot; hexagonal bowl: one chip to the mouth rim; the Japanese Satsuma vase: one repaired chip and another repaired area to the mouth; pottery miniature vase: nicks to the extremities; otherwise good condition.
