A Chinese carved malachite 'kuilong' beast-handled vase
19th century
With two carved beast heads in between handles around neck and 'kuilong playing with pearls' motifs around body. Sold with associated original hardwood stand.
H: 5 3/4, W: 3 1/2, D: 2 in. (H: 14.61, W: 8.89, D: 5.08 cm. (overall))

Provenance: From Mrs. Wheeler, Tampa, Florida. Inherited from her father. Lot 30 to 32 are from the same collector.
