IKE WILSON OR KATHERINE WILSON (NAVAJO) NATIVE AMERICAN SILVER AND TURQUOISE BUTTONS, LOT OF TEN,each featuring a floriform silver disk with stamped design and an oval or round turquoise cabochon to center, back with applied copper ring. Each impressed with bow and arrow maker's mark for Ike Wilson (1900-1942) or his wife Katherine Wilson (1907-1985), who continued using this mark after his death, this mark was previously misattributed to Austin Wilson, otherwise unmarked with unknown silver fineness/metal content. Together with a similar button having repair to back, possibly obscuring a maker's mark. 11 pieces total. Second quarter/mid 20th century.One 1 3/8" DOA.
Condition
Very good overall condition with minor wear, surface scratches, and nicks; additional button with solder repair to back. Stones not professionally graded.
