Lannan Model of the Private Steam Yacht Aphrodite

1980s, highly detailed wood and metal construction; The original ship was built in 1898 by Bath Iron Works (Maine) for Businessman Oliver Payne of New York City. This model is presented on a custom wooden stand fitted with a plaque giving its history and technical specifications. 19-3/4 x 41-1/2 x 9 in. on stand.
The Lannan Ship Model Gallery of Norwell, Massachusetts has been building finely crafted scale models of the highest quality since 1967. Their ships retail at four figures or more.
