Purchased three van cleef items. Harassed him to ship and finally receive the one cheapest item-a pair of earring which were clearly fake. The two expensive items were not in box. Call him and then never got back to me. Looked through previous auctions and he sells the same fakes over and over again. Going to FBI tomorrow to file a wire fraud complaint. Should be kicked off live auctioneers.

Bought a David Yurman bracelet in October 2020. The bracelet I received was not the bracelet in the photo, not even close! I returned and they shipped another which was even worse. The second bracelet was bent. Returned it and was told I would receive a refund. I've been waiting for A YEAR!!! No bracelet and NO REFUND!!! A TOTAL SCAM!!!!! I have sent multiple emails. I've gotten no response from the last two times I've tried to contact Mr. DeRuvo. I have waited to post a review hoping my issue would be resolved. Maybe this review will get a response!!!

I purchased a VCA magic Alhambra pendant necklace from them. The first pendant I received was not the pendant I purchased. It took quite a while to resolve the situation. The second pendant I received I took to the VCA store in Dallas for an appraisal and cleaning. They informed me that they could not authenticate the necklace because the clasp and stamps on the necklace did not match with VCA. I emailed Authentic Art Auction and was told they do not guarantee authenticity of their items and that the “opinion of one store clerk does not make the piece an inauthentic replica”. I was past the 7 day return and they did not offer any kind of reconciliation to resolve the situation. Incredibly dissatisfied.

I did receive the exact item I bid upon and it was in perfect condition. Only issue was the extended amount of time it took to receive my item after paying for it.. several weeks of the run around. Almost thought I wasnt going to get it. Thus I am leaving auction house 3 stars.

Seller both over the telephone, and by e-mail was directed to my shipping address desired. Contrary to Seller's agreement and direction, Item was shipped to wrong address and was packed very poorly, notwithstanding specific charge for shipping from Seller.

I was a little skeptical after reading some of their previous reviews but I am very pleased with my ring. It is exactly as described. My only issue was with the shipping. It took me 2 weeks to get my item. I'm not sure what the issue was but it shipped from New York and that may have been out of their control. A good price for a beautiful ring. I'll be back.

It was very important that the bracelet arrive by Thanksgiving Day, and it arrived on the 24th. The presentation was so beautiful I was tempted to keep my daughter's gift for myself. I will definitely do business with Authentic Art Auction again. TA

The item had a specific GIA certified diamond and was going to be used for a thanksgiving proposal. After numerous contacts and escalating claim. I receive a cancel sell email citing “sold out ��. Only one GIA number is assigned to Each diamond. I had to threaten police report for fraud. I got my money back but couldn’t replace the ring in time for proposal. STEER CLEAR! Also operated under another name.

This auction house called to get my credit card to charge won item which they did. They never sent the item, and are not responding to my inquiries, LiveAuctioneers, or my credit card company. A sham, and auction house to be avoided and not allowed to sell items on any website.

I'm so glad and happy with their service... They have quality items
