A Japanese Cloisonné-Enamel Vase, Attributed to Ando Jubei Workshop, Meiji Period (1868-1912) 9 x 6 inches (22.9 x 15.2 cm) Of baluster form, decorated in standard and musen cloisonnné techniques, with design of flowering and fruiting pomegranate branches against a light gray ground, unsigned. Condition
The vase, bearing a scene of fecund pomegranates, in overall good condition, with finely detailed enamel work and one small (approximately quarter inch) bruise with subsequent loss near foot.
