The London Police is a fearless British Street Art collective between Chaz Barrison and Bob Gibson, who have been making themselves known across the walls of Europe since 1998. The bold simplicity, slick line work and iconic LAD motifs have now grown iconic the world over and are a particularly dominant presence throughout Amsterdam, the collective’s adoptive home. From 2002 onward TLP started sending missionaries into all corners of the globe. London policemen have come and gone but founding members are still known to walk the streets of every city in the world spreading the love with pens and stickers.

Chaz Barrison himself commented on this particular work: “I obviously still didn’t have much control over my paintwork. Significantly I have failed to draw laces on the middle shoe which these days would be nothing short of criminal, however back then it obviously didn’t seem to matter.”
