Decisy- Pris: Societe du Livre d'Art, 1910, 43 p., color and black and white plates, contemporary rebinding (with original cover bound in), minimal browning and foxing, limited edition #36 of 100, Association copy- Daniel Bethmont, member of the Societe, and advisor to the Paris Court of Auditors. Honore de Balzac wrote this short story in 1836, after meeting and talking to an old blind violinist at a wedding reception in Paris. Balzac was deeply moved by the man's story and wrote the short story to honor the elderly violinist.
