About the Artist:

Maximilian Eicke having founded his minimalististic design studio Max ID NY in 2009, has been named one of Architectural Digest Rising Design Talents. He focuses predominately on furniture and lighting design. A design studio with a passion for producing minimalististic works that like to straddle the boundary of sculpture and functionality as well as pushing the materials used to their limits. In using high end materials and craftsmanship sourced throughout the world the studio has recently ventured into the tabletop and home wares market by expanding into porcelain ceramics, hand-blown glassware and stainless steel cutlery. All handmade, to the highest specifications reflecting the same aesthetic carried throughout his designs.
