James A. Michener". Also included is a typed and autographed note on Michener's stationary: "Dear Dr. Stuhlinger, The novel is finished and you will be getting a copy sometime after 15 September. I'm sending it to Huntsville with my warmest thanks for the two long interviews you accorded me. I hope you approve the treatment I've given the imaginary Peenemunde man. He became of the favorite characters, and his son one of the most interesting. The Shuttle has been an outstanding success and I had the pleasure of helping to present it to an international body of scientists at Vienna recently. All the best in your work, James A. Michener".
