NASA Pamphlet "Astronaut Selection Criteria" 1960's Circa 1960's, 1p, 650520-HISD-EB-GM) A five-hole-punched double-sided one-sheet educational brief summarizing the criteria for pilot-astronauts and scientist-astronauts. Some of the pilot-astronaut requirements include "39 years of age or younger, 5-feet 11-inches tall or less, graduate of a test pilot school, qualified jet pilot, 1500 hours of jet flying time or more, bachelor of science in engineering or the equivelent". One of the interesting requirements is that the candidates must "submit a Standard Form 57, Federal Employment Application Form, which is available at any U.S. Post Office". Excellent condition and an interesting early piece of literature from the space program.
