Description
Original Mary Blair concept art of "Once Upon a Wintertime" from Melody Time. (Walt Disney, 1948) Original concept artwork by Mary Blair featuring two rabbits skating from the "Once Upon a Wintertime" sequence of Melody Time. Besides doing character and visual design work for this short, Blair was also one of the writers. Accomplished in gouache on an 8 in. x 9 in. leaf of animation paper. Image measures 4 ¼ in. x 5 in. Slight fading and chipping at corners with a 1 ½ in. repaired tear at the top edge.
