Pair of early Frankoma green glazed, "Weeping Lady" book ends. During preview today we discovered a pencil point size chip on one foot. Unfortunately when we photographed the chip we discovered that the foot has been broken off and reglued. We examined the remaining Frankoma pieces, they are all in good condition. The American art pottery bookends are impressed with the Panther & Frankoma stamp. Circa 1933. (see condition report above and close-up photo). Measures 5 ½" high x 5 ½" deep. The pottery collection includes corner pieces of the original Oklahoma newspaper dated 1973, that the pottery was wrapped in.
