MARY OF TECK: (1867-1953) Queen Consort of the United Kingdom 1910-36, wife of King George V. Vintage ink signature ('Mary R', as Queen) and date, 7th July 1917, in her hand on a page removed from an autograph album. The lower half of the page also bears two other signatures including that of Anthony Ashley-Cooper (1869-1961) 9th Earl of Shaftesbury, Lord Chamberlain to Queen Mary 1910-22. Together with Queen Victoria (1819-1901) Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland 1837-1901. Facsimile A.L.S., Victoria R. I., one page, 8vo, n.p., 25th June 1887, sending thanks to her servants for their 'handsome & useful present' which she will always value 'as a remembrance of my Jubilee & as a mark of their devotion to my person'.
