Beaver,UT - Beaver County - c 1870s - James Fennemore took this photo of Fort Cameron.  Measures 5 3/4" by 3 3/4." Mounted 6 1/2" by 4 1/4."  The photo and mounting are wrinkled and have liquid stains as well as foxing.  Some fading has occurred in the photo’s lower left and left side.  The right side has some darkening.  Viewers can see the buildings, Fort grounds, and background fairly well.  This is a rare photo of a Fort that was built in 1872  and disbanded in 1883.  It had served to protect worried settlers from Natives in light of the recent Mountain Meadow Massacre.  :
