Description
A Chinese four-fold huanghuali and porcelain mounted screen, late 19th/early 20th century, the circular and rectangular panels decorated in famille verte with scenes of dignitaries a qilin and antiques, flowers and rocks, and battle scenes, the huanghuali framework with pierced borders, 195.5cm high, 176cm wide. This screen was used as a prop in Gwynne-Jones' portrait of General Lord Ismay in his Garter robes
