Huntington Daphné (American born 1926) "Winter Arrangement",oil on board, 24'' x 30'---- Daphné Huntington was born in Alaska. She is best known as muralist and a painter of seascapes. With her sister, painter Venetia Epler, they painted the mural: The Life of Christ, which was rendered in mosaic and is installed at the Forest Lawn Christian Heritage Museum in Covina, California. (It is the largest Christian mosaic in the world.) Her work has been rendered in stained glass in churches in England, Beverly Hills and East Los Angeles, California. Her works can also be found in the permanent collections of San Bernandino County, the Santa Clara Museum and the Mary Pickford Collection, among many others.
