72 - not examined out of frame; this work is matted and framed; the work is set within the overmat, so full watercolor is visible; the watercolor has some toning, as portion of outer bottom and top edges of work are lighter/brighter in color; we note a “line” that is damaged and appears re-painted at upper right – a thin surface scratch at upper center to top edge of work – small restored tear in sky at upper left; tiny missing paint chips to monk’s beard and hood, and other tiny losses of paint throughout, including but not limited to woman’s headdress and girl at far right, and to fountain at left and near two women at far left in distance, where some of the tiny losses appear restored – some foxing spots at lower left
