From the south coast of Peru, Nazca culture, ca. 300 - 200 B.C. Ceremonial pottery vessel in the form of a tall trumpet; human face accent painted in brown, orange and red. A finished piece, not a fragment, this finial-type mount would have been affixed to a piece of bamboo or other type wood. 11-1/4"H.
