Ancient Roman Paste Glass Intaglio, ca. 2nd to 3rd centuries A.D. Mold-made in white, opalescent glass showing single standing male soldier, perhaps Minerva, carrying a spear in his left hand as he looks to his right, shield at his feet. 13mm x 11 mm, intact and choice. Would look wonderful mounted in a ring (as was probably the intention 1800 years ago!
