This cover is offered for REFERENCE ONLY. It purports to be a cover flown on Apollo 11. The NASA Manned Spacecraft Center Stamp Club cachet is original as is the rare "DELAYED IN QUARANTINE" black handstamp in the center. The cover is cancelled with a large Houston hand cancel rather than the correct Webster, TX machine cancel. In reality, the cover was never flown but was prepared by a collector in Florida who, to our knowledge and his credit, made but never sold these covers. What makes this cover important is that he did have access to a genuine "Delayed" handstamp. These covers come on the market occasionally and are an important addition to the history of Apollo 11.
