Description
AMERICAN REVOLUTION. Manuscript Document. One page, 6 ½" x 8 ¼". Haddam. February 13, 1781. Addressed to Colonel Broom of Wethersfield. The Document lists the name of nine soldiers and the amount of Continental Currency each has paid to the town of Haddam. Although Continental Currency was largely worthless, it was still accepted by various Committees of Supply for certain goods needed by soldiers or their families. Very Fine.
