Description
Captain Otho B. Anderson Service Uniform, 43rd Balloon Company. This is a standard issue summer weight service uniform. Size approx 34". The left sleeve has a 3 piece felt aero roundel. Sewn above the left breast pocket is a RMA wing badge in gold and silver bullion. The collar insignia are standard pin-back US, and French style winged propeller.  The Captains bar are silver pin-back. Capt. Anderson was from Mason Illinois. Providence from the collection of Richard E. Deschenes, the author of the Book "Insignia, Uniforms, and Equipment fo the US Army Ballloon Corps 1917-1922. Overall good condition some staining along left sleeve.
