Colorful and old jadeite bangle with such good color of green and white that dazzles the eye.
A round segment of jadeite that has rounded edges which have been polished with a nice soft finish. The color is good with pale green and darker green mottling on a white background. There is much green to white on the bangle. There are patches of apple green. The jade matrix shows some prominent fissure lines. The bangle has a nice weight to it.
This bangle is for a small wrist and hand.
MEASUREMENTS 51 mm inner diameter, 8mm thick and 67 mm outside diameter. Weighs 1.4 oz (40 g)
CONDITION There is wear to the bangle in the form of small wear scratches and areas of dullness to the finish. This shows the age of the bangle. There is a fissure in the bracelet that extends all the way through the bracelet but it doesn’t appear to effect the structural integrity of the bracelet (i.e. it isn’t a weakness that is likely going to crack and break).
A small bangle with good green coloring. It will make a lovely gift. So much green!
