Lady"s Sapphire and Diamond Ring: One square emerald cut deep blue sapphire set in a custom made Art Deco style platinum setting with diamonds and sapphires. The center blue sapphire measures 7.07 mm x 7.27 mm x 4.36 mm and weighs approximately 2.40 carats. This stone has an even blue color with no windowing. The sapphire has an approximate GIA clarity grade of,"VS" and most closely resembles Kashmir color although the exact origin is unknown. No evidence of heat treatment is evident in the stone. The mounting is custom made and holds 5 straight cut baguettes and a sapphire on each shoulder of the ring The 10 baguette diamonds have an approximate weight of .70 carats total weight for all 10 stones. These diamonds have an approximate GIA color and clarity grade of "G/VS2" and are well matched. There is one square sapphire on each shoulder that weighs approximately .08 carats. All the side stones are bar set. The ring weighs 6.6 dwt. and is stamped inside the shank "PLAT"and the entire ring tests as platinum. From appraisal description, signed John H.
